2015-1Q: SIMPLer: Report Open Transactions Only

A new feature has been added to the SIMPLer system that allows Operator to view only open transactions for a customer, as an additional option to the full statement previously available. To use the feature, the SIMPLer user must go to the customer statement page as shown in Fig. 1.

On the customer statement page the checkbox "Only Open Transactions" must be checked and the "Generate" button must be clicked (fig. 2)

That report will list any opened transaction including:

    • open (unpaid or partially paid) invoices

    • prepayments

    • credits

Note that partially paid invoice will still be listed on the report with any payments associated to that invoice shown to make up the correct balance.

There has also been an option added to send an email to a customer with their statement. To do this, click on the black envelope displayed on the customer statement page. The operator can customize the email content using the email type "customer_statement_email". For more information on customizing the email text please click here
