2017-2Q: EUP: Send EUP Login Details Automatically
The feature to automatically generate a customer's End User Portal credentials automatically has recently been enhanced to provide some more flexible options.
The option is available under the Settings - Modify WISP page.
Fig. 1: Settings - Modify WISP
The option is called "Activate Password / "End User Portal" and automatically email password to customer" as per fig 2. It has three options:
Off: The feature is disabled. EUP credentials must be generated manually.
When Adding Customer: The EUP credentials are sent as soon as the customer is added to SIMPLer, regardless of their account status (potential, waiting for install, current etc)
When Changing to Current: The EUP credentials are sent as soon as the customer transitions to a "current" state for the first time.
